'Tis The (Sweater) Season
Let's be honest here for a second; harsh winter months and caribeñas like myself don't really swipe right on one another. I'm convinced, if it weren't for cozy sweaters, I wouldn't live to see past January.
My all-time-favorite this season has to be this Vipme number, in this gorgeous oatmeal shade. Since it's not your typical fold-over turtle neck, it can take some time (or a couple of washes) to grow accustomed to the stiffness of the neck. After a few wears you won't even notice it; I sure don't!
When styling a loose piece like this one, I tend to counterbalance it with something a wee bit tighter at the bottom- whether it's skinny jeans or a mini skirt like this one. Anything that shies away from the whole "sack a'potatoes" look will do😉. And of course, since I was on family vaca when these snaps was taken, nothing short of sneakers would've cut it in terms of comfort necessities.
I tied the look together with my go-to red crossbody bag- which happens to be on sale for under $150 btw!- and kept the accessories minimal with these Forever21 dainty rings.
Now tell me, what has been your favorite sweater style this winter? Drop it in the comments below!
