FALL 2021 FASHION TRENDS

Hey fam! Now that August is coming to a close I’m finally ready to talk about fall trends. I’m heartbroken that summer is almost over, but looking on the bright side I seriously can’t wait for fall fashion. I mean we can all agree it’s the best season to dress to the 9s, am I right?

I do want to preface this post by saying that you should not feel pressured to follow any of these trends come fall. Fashion should be about self expression and if these don’t fit into your personal style, feel free to skip right ahead! I know we consume so much content on a day-to-day basis that tells us how to dress/look/act & I’m by no means trying to add to that. Having that said, here are some of the fall 2021 trends I’m most excited to dip my toes into:

SATURATED HUES

Think vibrant, punchy colors and tons of them at the same time

HIGH SHINE

As in wearing sequins just cause its Tuesday. A party outfit sans party!

COLORFUL SUITING

I’m personally a sucker for a good suit and so this is a yes in my book

SLOUCHY BOTTOMS

Again we’re seeing a departure from skinny or form fitting and welcoming more slouchy silhouettes. The comfier the better I say!

KNITTED VESTS

This trend was huge last fall so I’m happy to see it sticking around. Expect more colors/prints this time around

CROPPED BLAZERS / SILHOUETTES

Cropped blazers can be tricky because they have to be just the right length so they don’t swallow you right up, but I welcome a good challenge😏Potentially a thrift flip project - let the hunt begin!

CHUNKY SHOES

Time to trade in your chunky sandals for chunky loafers
