Mother's Day Gifting: Two Bags For The Fashion Enthusiast

With Mother's Day around the corner, it's time to get in gifting mode! 

In my experience as a daughter, I've picked up on a few things that moms find essential. One being functionality in all she wears. This doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your good taste when you become a mom; just means you look for ease and comfort elements when shopping for new things. 

In the bag department, nothing says "functionality and ease" quite like a good tote and a chic backpack. Continue scrolling to see how I style my top two choices for mom on her special day below!

Before we get into it, a little background on my #OOTD. Here I'm wearing my latest Wilsons Leather addition- a bright red number that's perfect for spring as it's on the lighter side and the leather is super soft. I paired it with my flowy Zaful pants and Shoedazzle Rylee heels- how good are the flower appliqués on these btw! 

Mark and Graham Brooklyn Tote

If I hadn't made it clear in my last love letter, I'm absolutely head over heels for this brand! Mark and Graham makes all things gorgeously personalized, and this bag is no exception (peep the initials near the handles). Wow mom on her day with a practical yet stylish leather tote like this one, where she can fit her everyday "essentials" (think: everything she owns) and then some! 

The 5th Essential Backpack

Though the brand is known for their über cool watches, they also make amazing backpacks and beautiful eyewear! This backpack (called 'The Essential' bee-tee-dubs) is a nylon/leather mix that's perfect for traveling or just everyday. The color (or lack there of) makes it work for just about any and every look, with internal compartments that will keep mom's things nice and organized- no more "I can't find my keys" moms of the world!
