Four Fun Hairstyles for Curly Girls ft. Biolage

Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped-turned upside down...no but like literally!

Two years ago this April, I began what at the time I didn’t know would be my natural hair journey and I’m feeling v sentimental about it. What started as a “month-long heatless challenge” has turned into the biggest transformation in my life - both inside and out. I swear sometimes I catch a glimpse of my curls in passing and I still can’t believe that I did it - I took my single least favorite feature and turned it into the thing that I’m most proud of. But if we’re being honest, it probably wouldn’t have been possible without the help of some key products I found along the way.

One of which happens to be Biolage’s All-In-One Coconut Infusion Multi-Benefit Spray. I discovered this product early last year and since it has become one of my must-haves. This baby is so good for your hair - it nourishes your curls while also making it so much more manageable to detangle/style. I use it as my base in my weekly wash-and-go’s, whenever I need touch ups or am trying a new hairstyle. Which brings us to today’s post!

In commemoration of my two year anniversary since going natural, I wanted to put together some hairstyles that celebrate the beauty and versatility of curly hair. I feel like a lot of us think that when we go natural we’re giving up the idea of fun hairstyles or even hair accessories, but today I’m here to prove the contrary - with the help of my favorite multi-benefit spray by Biolage

For these styles the spray specifically helped me by stretching out the root of my hair and elongating the curl thus making my vision come to life. The spray is also great when your hair is on day 4 or 5 and is starting to feel a bit lackluster - it’ll inject life right back to it!

Hope you guys enjoy these looks and take away some ideas to try at home! If you try any of these, don’t forget to tag me so I can see.

Chels
