Work work
work! Most of us spend a great majority of our adult life working, so we might
as well look cute while doing it, #amiright? I, for one, love putting
together outfits for the office and taking my time getting ready in the
morning. Sometimes I even prep the night before! Just think about it this way: if you look your best and feel your best, you're setting your self up for a
great day ahead.
I work in a
creative agency, so my professional wardrobe leans more toward the “casual” of
business casual. Below I’ve styled two looks that work perfectly for work (wink
wink) this fall – weaving in some of my favorite seasonal pieces from PoloRalph Lauren.
When
shooting these looks and talking about, my photographer said “I love anything
and everything Ralph Lauren for fall” – and it’s so true! If there’s one
designer that truly understand fall textures, colors, fabrics, and the art of
layering, that’s Ralph Lauren.
Everything
they make just screams cozy, while still fitting into the “rules” of a work
environment. Not to mention, you can make each piece your own. I mean a blazer
could be just a blazer, but if you’re feeling playful you can turn it into
a top!
Keep on
scrolling to see how I styled my subtle windowpane suit and leather leggings +
classic beige peacoat combo for work!

This first
look is your typical work suit with a twist. My window pane suit is a classic
work combo, but I made it more “me” by adding a ruffled top and leopard print
sneakers. If your office environment is more business-forward, swap out the
kicks for booties or pointed toe pumps and you’re set!

This second look is more along the lines of those “casual Friday” vibes – but maybe you
have somewhere to be after hours...? The leather leggings and pea coat balance each
other out, and the addition of booties just ties the entire look together.

I love how creative you got with these! So cool!
