#CAOLTravels: Savannah, Georgia

Hi there babes! Happy to report that I made it out of one of the U.S.'s most haunted cities safe and sound!

All jokes aside, Savannah is a charming little city that's nice and convenient for those Easterners looking for a quick weekend getaway. And that is precisely how this trip started - my gal pals and I were looking for a nice spot neither of us had been to, that was close enough to be able to swing a quick escapade.

Overall, I really enjoyed my time in Savannah and would definitely go back. But I do very much believe in it's history and would advice you all to stay as far away from weird ghost tours as possible. LOLS.

With that said, here are my can't-miss Savannah spots:

To eat:
Mrs. Wilke's Dining Room
Best southern food I've ever had! Get here early - lines form nice and early and they stop taking people in around 3:00 p.m. It's family-style and delicious!
Cafe M
Cute little French-inspired cafe
Olde Pink House
A Savannah staple! We made reservations beforehand to ensure a spot. Like the name alludes it's pink - so tons of photo opps as well!
Hucapoos
Close to Tybee - cheap bar food + drinks
Leopold's
A great ice cream cone + photo opp
Sting Ray's
Another stop by Tybee - great seafood!

To do/see:
Forsyth Park
Tybee Island
Savannah City Market
River Street
Jones Street
Chippewa Square - Forrest Gump bench
Lucas Theater

To shop:
Broughton Street
Paris Market
Civvies
