Happy F R I Y A Y!
I have to start by apologizing for my lack of posts these past two weeks. Things have been a little cray cray on this side of town since I've been non-stop traveling from Cartagena to East Hampton. I've truly never been more excited to stay in the city this weekend and get s**t done!
by s**t I mainly mean laundry and chores. Oh the excitement...
Anyway, coloring up your screens today with this gorgeous Cartagena setting, just steps away from our Airbnb. As per ushe there'll be a full city guide soon but in the meantime I'll give you guys a little CliffNotes-style summery of my trip: I went there for Labor Day, I never wanted to come back. *single mascara teardrop*
But back to the look! Inspired by the great Aimee Song of Song of Style (if you haven't heard of her you might want to consider moving from under that rock sometime soon) I decided to pack mainly dresses for this trip. In one of her recent videos she shared this savvy trick as it saves you luggage space and I mean, you seriously can never go wrong with an airy frock for a tropical destination, amiright?
This OTS gem was sent to me by the Zaful team and I have to say, I'm in loff. I tend to stick to white pieces for summer because they go with just about everything but don't attract the sun like black pieces do. There, major life hack, you're welcome;)
This frock just happens to be a tad bit on the see-through side so I decided to throw on same-colored shorts (wasn't in the mood to flash the whole town, really), beige undergarments and VOILA! A summer approved look that won't have heads turning- not for the wrong reasons anyway.
Stay tuned for more Cartagena looks and insider tips coming soon;)
