Welcome back to another week at Chelsea as of Late, where we complain about the weather, the MTA and heavy workloads nonstop. LOLJK, but really, what's up with this chilly breeze June?
Back when the weather was behaving accordingly, I got to style this running-late-to-work chic lewk. I find that when I'm in a bit of a time crunch, ladylike pieces like this off-the-shoulder top and A-line skirt are what I'm reaching for, almost in auto-pilot mode. Maybe it's because they're effortlessly stylish and appropriate for most occasions- work included. Or maybe it's because I feel like I actually might have my ish together when I look put together (read: I really don't but we can pretend). Either way, when my watch tells me I have 20 minutes to rush out the door and have yet to tame my mane, brush my teeth and beat my face, outfits like these are my go-to lifesavers.
When all else fails, what at are your "emergency looks"? Tell me in the comments below!
