Pink Is The New Neutral

Currently walking around work looking like a sleep deprived Mets fan....oh wait, that's exactly what I am! I don't event want to talk about at this point because every time I hear anyone mention the World Series my heart physically aches.

So moving right along to nicer subjects, today I'm sharing this look with you guys which I wore on a Friday when I had to dash down to Broadway as soon as the clock hit 6 to catch a play with my BFF. Plays aren't an everyday occurrence for myself, so of course I had to glam the look up with black pumps and a little lipstick action. And thats exactly why I enjoy looks like this one so much, you can work and play in them with just a few minor tweaks in between (said lipstick and heels).

To give the look an extra je ne sais quoi, I threw my beloved Kate Spade Hayden satchel into the mix and, as per ushe, layered a couple of statement necklaces 'round my neck. When I first got my hands on this beauty (the bag) I intended to use it as much as possible during the summer (which I did) and store it away for the winter as lighter colored handbags are typically associated with warmer weather. But seeing how now pastels seem to be the new neutral, especially pastel pink, I intend to keep this baby around till the flowers start to bloom again!

Hope you guys enjoy the look and have an amazing week!
