hello my lovelies!
It's been over a year now since the Caribbean sun has touched my skin and boy does it feel good to be back! This time around my little brother, boyfriend and I ventured out to St. Lucia, a small but gorgeous island, closer to Venezuela than the U.S, that offers the perfect balance between beaches and wild life. Our arrival was a bit rocky and I'll explain more of that on a later post but once we settled into our AirBnB apartment I opted for this breezy off-the-shoulder top, silky shorts, and of course, wide brim fedora to start our island get away with a light, effortless look. We intended to find the closest beach to us (LaToc beach) but being that driving around the island is so difficult since there are barely any signs to guide you we settled on finding food instead and calling it a day. We ended up at this spot off the Castries-Gros Islet Highway called The Wharf where we met the nicest Lucian lady, Lisa, who gave us so many recommendations for the days to follow.
We're off to explore the south of the Island soon where botanical gardens, steep hikes and drive-in volcanos await us so chao for now. And do keep posted for more posts on this adventure soon!
