PRINCESS OF CHINA WITH A TWIST

T-Shirt:Club Monaco,  Pants:H&M,  Boots:Century 21(old),  Kimono:H&M,  Watch:Target

This is essentially my idea of a basic outfit. This morning (as most mornings) I woke up 40 minutes later than I should have and basically threw random basics to make an easy/comfortable yet still "me" outfit. I based it around my hairstyle which was a product of a late night trial and error experiment conducted by moi last night. I thought the whole braided crown had a very boho/Nicole-Richie-esque vibe so I threw on this kimono to go with the "theme". But at the same time these metallic pants and biker boot save the look from being way to girly or delicate. Overall this outfit is proof that, contrary to prior belief, "running late" doesn't have to mean sweat pants, hoodies and messy buns. One can quickly put together something nice and easy, not too many accessories, when in a rush.
