Skirt:Ann Taylor LOFT, Booties:Michael Kors, Gloves:Target, Jacket:Forever21
Last Sunday I dragged my bf/photographer with me to a park near my house to shoot my "fall fashion" photo shoot. I put together a few outfits that touched upon some trends/colors I'm really digging this season and this was the first outcome. I played around with "fall-forward" textures (like this tweed Ann Taylor LOFT pencil skirt) while mixing in some warm colors such as the mustard jacket and red lip that matched the red gloves, to give the look some life. I'm very happy I picked this place to shoot because it had the perfect earthy tones (umm, DUH its a park!) to compliment the storyline of my shoot. Also the lighting was perfect in this specific spot (see cool effect in the 6th picture). Unfortunately it has gotten way too cold since this shoot (crazy since this was less than a week ago) and now New Yorker women officially have to slip on tights under their skirts and dresses to bear the cold wind. As I mentioned before, there are more looks to come so stay tuned for the next ones!
